Go-to-market & first 30 days

The operating layer for in-house legal

How we sell, who we sell to, and what we ship first.

We don't enter cold. We start inside the monday.com customer base, ship a focused negotiation MVP, and clear the security bar that legal buyers require — in parallel, from day one.

01
How we sell

Warm distribution, not cold start.

Channel 01 · Installed base

Sell into the monday.com base

A large existing customer base we can approach directly — warm accounts, established trust, a known buyer.

Channel 02 · Network

Leverage our own connections

Founder and team relationships open doors in parallel — design partners and early pilots beyond the base.

Dependency · Security gate

SOC 2 Type 2 is the unlock

Legal AI demands a high security bar. We can start selling and piloting now, but full enterprise commitment waits on certification.

~3-month process · start after security review · potential blocker
02
Who we sell to

Start where the trust already is.

First

monday.com base

Contract-heavy B2B with in-house legal — our warmest, fastest path to first users.

Then

In-house legal teams

GCs and legal ops drowning in negotiation and review volume.

Expand

Satellite roles

Sales, procurement & finance — the teams blocked when legal is slow.

03
Roadmap · Refactor → MVP

The cut.

A focused MVP — negotiation first, with the integrations our first users live in.

Must

Negotiation engine

The core — review, redlines, playbook-based negotiation.

Ship

Gmail integration

Meet legal where the work already arrives.

Ship

monday.com integration

Official integration — first users come from the base.

Minor refactor: cut the non-essential to a lean, demoable core — then expand outward across legal workflows.

04
First signal

What's the minimum that tells us this is real.

We don't need scale to know we're right. We need a small number of real legal teams running real negotiations through the product — and coming back for the next one.

The minimum product

One negotiation, end to end

A real contract through review → redlines → playbook-based positions. Not the full platform — the core loop, working.

The minimum users

A few design partners

A handful of legal teams from the monday base, on live deals they actually have to close — not demos, not pilots in name only.

The signal

They come back

They run the next deal through it without being asked. Repeat use on real negotiations is the proof — everything else is noise.

We're not waiting on scale, a finished platform, or signed enterprise deals to know we're onto something. A handful of teams using it on live work — and returning — is the first signal.

05
Onboarding

Value before the user does the work.

The hardest part of onboarding is that the system needs the team's judgment to be useful — and entering it is real work. So we have the AI build the first version for them.

Blocker

The empty-system problem

The value lives in Skills, Positions, and Playbooks — but normally the team has to build those first. Until they do, the product feels empty and onboarding stalls.

Fix

Builder agent bootstraps it

Point the AI builder agent at a handful of existing agreements. It extracts Skills, drafts Positions, and assembles Playbooks automatically — a personalized starting system, not a blank page.

Result

Value with minimum effort

Teams start from a working draft tuned to their own contracts, then refine. Time-to-value drops from weeks of setup to the first session.

Onboarding becomes review-and-approve, not build-from-scratch. The same Agreement Intelligence that powers reviews also bootstraps the account on day one.
